Well, haven't I been a good beauty blogger, I've been using up all my stashed products just like I said I would.

I don't know about you, but I like to have a few options of shower gels readily available in my shower. Sometimes I want to feel nourished, sometimes I need a bit of zing to wake me up and I often have a lovely relaxing scent for when I want to wind down. This is were the Original Source range comes in handy, not only are they often in BOGOFF offers in supermarkets but it can look quite nice to have a selection of scents in your shower when they all match. Most mornings I've mainly been using the mint & tea tree or their lemon scent (smells like lemon curd... yum) and on a day were my skin feels a little drier, I've been reaching for the coconut. The coconut smells scrummy, however I'm not sure I noticed my skin feeling any more moisturised than usual.... which leads me into the next product nicely... Nivea In Shower Body Moisturiser.

I started using this skin conditioner when it first came out and now it is one of my most used lazy day products. It doesn't smell as nice as most of the usual run of the mill lotions you can buy, but it definitely makes a difference compared to not using any moisturiser, I've repurchased this at least 5 times already as you literally just slap it on in the shower, rinse off then voilá... easy peasy.

For my nails, I do love me some drying drops! They leave your nails looking shiny and more salon like, which is always great for an IG photo ;D I'm not sure I'd say these are the best on the market, I personally prefer the spray versions but they do the job and are great for when your layering colours doing nail art.

Balance is a range that I often come across when stalking the aisles of TK Max or B&M Bargains. When I came across their Snake Venom Eye Cream I pictured rattlesnakes being milked by herpetologists, however it seems my imagination had definitely ran away with itself. The cream actually contains a 'snake venom like' neuropeptide (syn-ake) which offers anti ageing properties were as the eyepro 3x boosts collagen and hydration to the eye area. This hasn't found itself back on to my repurchase list, it was nice enough but a fairly standard product for me.

Last but not least, is my Badger Sleep Balm. I'd often have this stashed in my handbag for flights and hotel stays, it was also a nice little addition to my night time routine, I'd rub it onto my temples for a minute or so then settle down for a good nights sleep. It smells fantastic, if I was feeling particularly stressed I would rub it onto my hands and cup my mouth & nose and just breathe in the oils to aid relaxation. I don't think it does make you drop off to sleep, but it does smell lovely and help with those mindful moments when you need to just take a minute to unwind.

Ok, I admit it... MIC has me now hooked on winged eyeliner, flawless skin & bold orange lips.

Whilst shopping online I came across these lipsticks by Revlon in Kiss Me Coral (the darker shade) and Carnival Spirit (lighter shade). I must admit, after seeing the swatch box on the Boots site, these colours did look different as to how I envisioned them and I am slightly disappointed that Carnival Spirit is so sheer... I was hoping for a big pop of colour.  On a more positive note however, it's moisturising, not at all tacky and offers fantastic shine. I feel this shade would be great if you wanted a more natural lip.

Kiss Me Coral on the other hand is a creme and although again, isn't the shade I was hoping for, it does have fantastic staying power and offers great pigmentation. Both lipsticks were £7.49 each which I personally think is great value for money and Boots currently have a 3 for 2 on their Revlon products, so now's a great time to try out their new ranges as well as stock up.

All in all, these are lovely lipsticks but sadly they just aren't my perfect orange shades.
I have since started my mission to get my little mitts on Smashbox's Fireball matte which seems to be sold out almost everywhere in Oxford street, but until I do, these lipsticks will continue to be my go to lip colours...

As you're probably aware, this product is by no means new to the market, however it is new to my make up routine so I wanted to share my views.

This hydrating concealer has offered better coverage than I imagined it would and leaves a natural finish and covers my dark circles a treat.  I love the cute packaging, although it isn't the most practical for all you germaphobes, as it is a stick that works best applied directly to the area and blended out with fingers as it melts with the heat of your skin.

There's three shades available, my colour is medium. The product itself looks fantastic on and as you can see in the pic above, the product evenly distributes in on quick sweep and it leaves a dewy finish which is the look I'm currently into, but if you want more of a matte finish then it sets well with powder too.

This creamy concealer lasts around 4 hours on my skin so regular touch ups are required as I work 12 hour shifts, however as it is a easy product to use, I just pop a sample size in my purse and sweep some under my eyes when it looks like it's fading and voila, my fake flawless skin look is restored.

Has anyone else been using fake up to make up their face?

NB. I'm not affiliated with Benefit in any way, I just tend to like their products and all opinions are my own :D

Left: I'm pure for sure   Right: I'm so money

Lately I have been loving the more natural make up looks, some of my inspiration has come from TV shows such as MIC or Taking NYC and after trying out various liquid foundations, I have finally found a new fave in the Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen WOW foundation.

As you can see, this foundation gives great coverage. It feels surprisingly light on the skin and the colour match is fantastic. I have two samples, the smallest is in the lightest shade "I'm pure 4 sure" (Ivory) and the larger sample is in "I'm so money" (Honey) which is my natural summer skin tone shade. I found the foundation acts as a fantastic base for me to blend in cream blush, highlight and bronzer. I don't need to set it with powder, however  I do blot some over my nose, chin and forehead to give a matte finish.

This foundation does help skin look hydrated and apparently can help combat the signs of ageing as well as boost cellular respiration. The product even contains SPF 25, which is fantastic for lazy girls like me that want to save time with multi purpose products.

One thing I have noticed is that despite using primer, it just doesn't stay put for longer than 3-4 hours, but then it looks so good when it's on, it's totally forgivable.

Thanks for reading :D
